The dpa-digitalwires-format is a JSON-based data format used to transport the multimedia news items of dpa and other news agencies. Specifically it is used in:
* dpa-Weblines * dpa-Textfunk The dpa-digitalwires-format describes so-called Topicles. Topicles unite aspects of multimedia articles with those of containers. This means that pure text-based articles, multimedia articles with text and image elements as well as composites made from several texts and other assets can be represented by a single concrete JSON-Object. The dpa-digitalwires-format is engineered towards user requirements of importing items into content management systems as well as the automatic publishing of items.
