The wireQ-API allows delivery of current articles, including metadata and links to different image formats, via a queue based system.
The queue contains all articles that have not yet been imported. They can be retrieved via simple RESTful requests. After a successful import, the articles have to be deleted from the queue. Alternatively, their import has to be acknowledged to the queue.
Advantages:
- Compared to jsonfeed, the importer has to spend less effort distinguishing newly imported topicles from older ones. Additionally, the volume of transmitted data is lower.
- In the case of an importer failing, articles are kept safely in the queue, even over several days.
Details can be found in the API-Portal
